This site has no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no cookie banner, because it does not set advertising cookies. What it does collect is what you choose to send us in a quote request.
Quote requests. The details you enter in the form on the quote page — name, company, email, country, product details and any notes — plus any drawing you subsequently email. These are used to prepare a quotation and to correspond about the order, and for nothing else.
Server logs. Like every web server, ours records the request, the time and the IP address. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Fonts. Served from this domain, not from a third-party font service, so a page view does not tell anyone else that you visited.
Ask and you will be told what we hold about you; ask again and it is deleted, except where we must keep an invoice for tax purposes. Email sales@bogeqi.com with “data request” in the subject line.
Data is held for as long as the commercial relationship requires and no longer. Drawings are kept because a repeat order needs them; say so if you would rather we did not.
Three different things are held for three different periods, and it is worth separating them because a single sentence like “we keep your data for seven years” would be both too long for an enquiry and too short for an invoice.
| Record | Kept for | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Quote request that did not become an order | 12 months | So a delayed project does not have to be re-quoted from scratch |
| Drawing for an order we made | The life of the commercial relationship | A repeat order has to match the last one |
| Invoice and packing list | As long as tax law requires | A statutory obligation, not a choice |
| Server logs | A few weeks | Security and troubleshooting only |
Nothing on this site profiles you, and there is no automated decision-making anywhere in the process — a quotation is prepared by a person reading a drawing. If you ask for a quote and then do not proceed, the only thing that persists is the correspondence and the drawing, and both are deleted on request.
One thing worth being explicit about: sending us a drawing is not a transfer of rights in it. It stays yours, it is used for your order, and it is not shown to another customer or reused as a template for someone else's job.
